House update - two posts in one!

Here are some recent pics of the house. The progress is moving along and I have to say I am so ready to move in!!!!!

This is the siding color we chose - Hazel. These were taken on Wednesday or Thursday of last week.

Jarrett also had 3 crews at the house that same day to install our insulation. Here are some pics for Kevin. And, yes love, we passed both the county and Progress Energy's inspections. Things are moving along great.

The below pics are from today - Sunday afternoon. There were two crews at the site today....the siding crew and the drywall crew.

Beach trip, post 2

Here are some more pics from our beach trip and a cute video of Lydia and Paulie playing in the sand. Enjoy!!!

Our beach trip

Gina and I decided on a whim to take all 6 kids to the beach on Sunday for the Memorial Day weekend. We got a great rate on a room, packed up the kiddos and headed out. Little did we know that it was Sport Bike Week in Myrtle that weekend. So there was alot of interesting sites. The kids had a great time playing at the beach, in the ocean and all 14 pools! It was a crazy but fun time. I would do it again.....Gina has already asked if we should go again this weekend. We'll see. Here are some photos from our trip.

Housing progress

The house is coming along. Looks like the closing will be July 1st. My builder has been working hard lining up all the suppliers and getting things done! Here are some recent pics from the past two days.

It is like a real home.

We went to check on the progress of the home today and oh my, it is like looking a real home. I can't believe it will be finished soon! There are windows and doors in...and the shingles are going on the roof! Shocking. Some contractors were there when we walked thru so it was a quick one. I am hoping to get pics of the inside tomorrow. Check back soon for those. But enjoy these pics today.
