We have a walker!

This video was taken just before Catherine turned one and you can see that she is working hard on walking. She has gotten better with time, but still prefers to crawl most of the time. And I don't blame her because she is one fast little crawl. Enjoy the video.

Paul's finale

Paul's preschool class had their finale last week. It was so cute. Their theme was America, Land of the Beautiful. They sang songs about America. I can see how Paul has really matured over the past year. Enjoy watching him sing along with his classmates.

William's school project

William has been learning about families and traditions during one of his social studies units. For a school project, he had to create something that talked about his family's traditions. William decided to create a traditions book that showed pictures of our family traditions. William was very excited about this project and worked diligently on it every night after school. Here are some pictures of his book, as well as some video he took to tell Dad about his project.

The cover.....Family Times by William C.

Videos, videos, and more videos

I have been busy over the weekend uploading some video to the blog. Scroll down to the Capozzoli Clan video section to check them out.

The first one is of Daddy and Paulie dancing to the snazzy, jazzy music on the Pama Liqueur website. We found this site on New Years Eve when Auntie Sara came to visit. Much dancing and drinking occurred in our playroom that night...and then it got serious....a Tetras battle between Daddy and Aunt Sara. I don't remember who won. I feel asleep on the couch listening to them bicker back and forth. They truly are each other's long lost siblings.

The other three videos are from last Friday when William's school had Awards Day. William received two awards!!!!!!! One for perfect attendance and the other for Achievement in Art. The Art award was given to one boy and one girl in each class. William represented the boys in Mrs. Reilly's class. We are very proud of him! And, he is quite proud of himself!

Enjoy the videos. They are quite funny.

William reads a story

William has been working very hard to learn to read. He can read several stories in "Dick and Jane" all by himself, but he prefers to have mommy read to him at night. Who wouldn't? For the past two days, William has brought home books from school that he has to read to mommy for homework. We have a Reader Log that we sign and send the book back to Mrs. Reilly. With Daddy away for some training, we decided to video William reading his book so Daddy can see his progress. Scroll down to the video section and check it out. The lighting is a bit darker because we did this at nighttime in William's room with his little lamp, but you still get to see everything you need to. William has become a great reader and is very proud of himself.....I am very proud of him too.

Snow video

I have to capture every moment of the snow because you never know when it will return again. We do have some cute video of William when he was two and we lived in Colorado from his first snow experience. Here is one of the boys playing on the deck before we headed out for sledding. Enjoy.

The hottest 38 seconds EVER....intended for mature audiences only.

Weekends have been kinda lazy around here since the holidays. I think we are still coming down from the flurry of visitors. Yesterday, while we waited for our realtor to call about our offer, the boys decided it was time to destroy the house. By this I mean, pull every toy, book, movie, whatever we have in the playroom and make sure they make their way to other rooms in the house. So we had a fort in the dining room, building blocks in the kitchen and all other sorts of toys in the living room. Before we went out for the night, it was time to straighten up the house....except for the playroom....that is today's chore. Kevin, without my asking or prompting, did the following........Watch out, it is a pretty racy video. It is intended for mature audiences only.

A special treat

William wanted to create his own special treat this morning....be a chef. So we played along. His treat included the following ingredients:
Cereal - two kinds. Corn Bran and Frosted Flakes
Fruit Gummies
Grape Jelly
Peanut Butter
Yogurt - two kinds. Cotton candy and Kiwi
BBQ Potato Chips
Bread
Cheese - Colby Jack
Cheetos
Goldfish
Milk to gel it all together

It was tasty. Here is a photo of William eating his treat and then a photo of the actual treat. I videoed him eating it to get his thoughts on it. It is in the video section. Check it out. I think we are safe to say that he is not ready for culinary school at the moment....but is interested.

Christmas fun, songs and gifts

This is a video of what we hear all day, everyday in our home. These fun little Christmas friends sing and dance their hearts out for Paulie and William's entertainment. Paul has been in love with these types of toys since he received his first one from William. So if you are wondering what to get Paulie, any toy like this would make him oh so happy....and Kevin and I would love it too!

Spooky, spooky

William's school had it annual "Halloween Parade" today. Paulie and I attended. William decided he wanted to be a scary skeleton again this year instead of his costume, the Evil Lord. He was so excited to get ready for Kindergarten today....wearing his costume to school. We had to practice our scary face. You're scared, right?!?!? Yeah, I thought so. So am I. Scary, scary, scary. I also posted a video of the parade. It is in the bottom of this post.

It's just me, mom.

The Pumpkin Patch

Miss. Laura is here visiting this weekend. We decided to take the kids to the Pumpkin Patch where they had bounce houses, hay rides, train rides, pony rides, music, and face painting. The kids had a great time. William spent most of the time on the bouncy slide. Paulie was content riding the train and the ponies...and Laura and I, well we just ran after the kids from one end of the park to the other. It was a great time. Here are some quick videos of the adventure. Check back for some snap shots.

The tongues!!!!

Thanks to Auntie Sara, the boys LOVE, LOVE Airhead Out Of Control candy. While my parents visited, we went to the candy store and William, of course, bought Airheads with his money. I uploaded a video of the boys showing off their brightly colored tongues from this candy. It is in the video section at the end of the blog. Check it out.

New videos

I finally got around to uploading some new videos. They are in the Capozzoli Video section of the blog. One is of me and William playing Twister. Aunt Heather, Uncle Trent and Caroline bought him this for his birthday. We had loads of fun playing....if any of you come to visit I know the perfect party game! The second one is of the boys eating ice cream and just being boys. I forgot that my camera only videos on direction, so the video is sideways for a bit....sorry.

Fun in the sun

We had a great weekend! The sun, sand and pools were just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The boys LOVED being in a hotel, sleeping in a different bed....with Mommy in one and Daddy in the other. Waking up to the sun, running on the beach, collecting seashells (Hurricane Hanna definitely left her mark with all the seashells on the beach), playing at the water park created some tired little ones by mid-afternoon and an early evening for all of us. It was a great weekend that convinced us we need to do this more often.......which we agreed we will. Our next quick family get-a-away will be Charleston. Here are some family pics and a video...more will follow.

Again, fun with a dog

The boys have found a new coloring book, Kyra. She was so good while the tried to color in the lines, on the lines (her white blaze), her toenails, and even her tail. I tried to upload the video to this post, but something went wrong. So I used the old standby. Scroll down to the bottom of the blog to the Capozzoli Video section. This video will be the first one. Check it out and I hope it brings a smile to your face and a laugh to your belly.

A hose and a dog

Who knew what fun....simple fun...you could have with a hose and a dog! Check out the boys playing with Kyra out on the back deck yesterday after she got her bath. Too much fun for everyone!

The bone!

Kevin bought some really nice T-bones for dinner on my birthday. We grilled them up and sat outside.....everyone who visits the blog knows this because they have seen the photos from that night. Well, Paulie, like any boy/man, loves steak. I have the traditional struggles with Paul to try and eat vegetables. So, we had these steaks. Kevin's T-bone was enormous. I mean gigantic. When Kevin was cutting away the last few pieces of meat from the bone and Paul could actually see the bone, his eyes were the size of saucers.....just eyein' that bone. It made me think of my younger brother, Trent, and how he was this way as a boy. So, I decided to give the bone to Paul. You are just going to have to scroll to the bottom of the blog - to our video section - to see for yourself.
