Christmas morning!!!!!

We did alot last night to get ready for Santa. William and I decorated a gingerbread boy for him, wrote him a thankyou note and left him some milk. We then tracked his progress on Norad.org....several times. And, tried to call him but the line was always busy. William then read Christmas books with Papa and fained that he was sleeping. He finally went to sleep and 11PM. So, Kevin, my mom and I stayed up really, really late last night setting up.

Uncle Tye, Aunt Kelly and Abby come over bright and early for presents and breakfast. William had to be roused from his bed and everything became a flurry. Presents were ripped open and pure excitement was had by all. William was thrilled with his easel, books, power ranger PJ's and several trucks. Paulie and Abby loved the play house, baby books and shape sorters. Everyone got some great FSU propaganda! Go Noles! But the best present of all was from Uncle Jeff.....a talking tocan. You talk to the bird and it repeats EVERY WORD BACK TO YOU.....TWICE......IN A HIGH PITCHED BIRD VOICE! It is the BEST gift ever. We are all wondering when and if the bird will fly south to warmer weather. Hope you all had a great Christmas. Enjoy some of our photos. More to come.

Oh, just one more try....

While Trent and Heather were here, we tried to get the kids together for a family photo of the cousins. You all know the routine. Well, here are several shots of our attempts. Keep in mind, these are just from my camera. I can't even imagine what shots Aunt Heather and Aunt Kelly captured. We did all these.....

For this shot. It is the best of all of them. You can at least see their faces. Unfortunately, Paulie feels he must pull on Caroline's hair....a little something he learned from her. They traded baby secrets during her visit. I can only imagine what bad habits she learned from him!

Boating....in December!

We have upgraded our boat and have gotten a nicer version of our old one. My parents, Kevin and I are all partners in this boat and we have decided to keep it in South Florida for now. So, Kevin trailered the boat down and we have spent many an afternoon lounging on the boat, enjoying the warm South Florida sun. Here are some pictures from our adventures.

Sweet Caroline in her life jacket.

Look at that cute smile!

My Paulie!

Caroline and her Daddy.

The kids went CRAZY after lunch when we fed the fish at Lighthouse Marina. William could not get his fill. These fish are quite large and hungry!

Paulie about to smack his Daddy in the head.

William checking out the fish.

Me and the boys in the cabin of the boat.

William coming out the hatch. I did this as a child and have many a photo of me in a boat hatch. Too cute!

Us at the marina. Kevin took the picture. I need to get the one with him in it. Check back for that one.

I wish I could sleep like this on a boat!

Sweet, baby faces

We have taken some really cute and funny pictures of the kids. I just could not resist putting them up on the blog. Enjoy!

Do you think he likes black beans?!

Caroline loved playing with this frog. It looked very life like. Funny to see her so happy with a frog toy.

An early Christmas!

This year we have been so grateful to have all of the Von Gunten/Seyberts together for a portion of the holiday season. Twas not supposed to work out this year, but it did and we had a great time together. Because I came down early with the boys, Kevin then decided to come early and we were able to spend time with Trent, Heather, Caroline, Tye, Kelly and Abby. It has been wonderful.

On Monday, we did a Christmas exchange with the children at Uncle Tye and Aunt Kelly's home. The kids had a great time exploring a new home and checking out all of cousin Abby's toys. Here are some photos from the night.
