Happy Mother's Day!

We celebrated Mother's Day today and throughout the weekend. William decided that yesterday was Mother's Day....not today. So I got special Mother's Day presents both days. How lucky am I?!?!?!?! Daddy even remembered Mother's Day while away on his "business trip" and sent these beautiful flowers. A rose for every day that we have to wait till baby Cate arrives. He is a true romantic. I think he is ready to get back to his boys and his girl(s).

Our Mother's Day was very relaxing. Gaga and I rested and relaxed while the boys played. We then cleaned up the toys from the backyard and had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner from Outback Steakhouse carried in. The boys are now in bed and we will soon be following.

Happy Easter

Easter Sunday was filled with fun, food, friends, family and of course.......CANDY!!!!!!!!!!! My parents arrived on Saturday for William's Spring Break vacation and was able to spend Easter with us. As is the life of a military wife, you get use to spending holidays away from your spouse so Mandy and I decided we wives would spend it together. We had a yummy meal of ham, potatoes, fresh veggies from my new shopping venture Carolinagrown and the best yet, Mandy's super yummy fruit salad! Everyone loved the ham and the fruit salad. Gaga and Papa then played Easter Bunny and hid all the eggs. The kids had a great time searching the yard for the eggs.....and the Easter Bunny was quite generous this year with eggs. I think we are set for the next few years. Here are some pictures from the hunt and their special finds.

The kids displaying their eggs. William's bucket was so heavy I thought the handle was going to break.

Our New Year's tradition

The Capozzolis have created a new New Year's tradition without even realizing it....and the same is true for Aunt Sara. Celebrating New Year's with Aunt Sara! It sure is fun. This year Aunt Sara brought up Kyra, which the boys LOVED. Kyra got alot of energy out by chasing the boys and playing chuck-it. The boys got to hug and love all over her....the best way to have a dog right now. She visits and she leaves. We are hopeful that Kyra has taken a break from destroying her mommy's house since she left all her energy here in NC.

Here are some great pics of the boys with Aunt Sara. She is always willing to pull out that blue tongue for pictures. This night was $1.00 waffle cone night at TCBY. Can't beat it....$4.00 for ice cream for all of us....and these great pics.

Nice teeth, Aunt Sara.

Cousins and my babysitter

Here are some great pics of the cousins and William, my babysitter.

Santa's phone call

We arranged for Santa to take time out of his busy schedule to call the boys on Christmas Eve. The boys were so excited. Paulie could not believe that Santa was on the phone and just keep repeating over and over "Santa, Santa". Once he realized Santa was there and going to talk with him, he started asking about his favorite Christmas reindeer, Rudolph. Santa said Rudolph was getting ready for the big trip, filling up his belly eating hay in the barn. Too cute. William was just excited to talk with Santa and tell him how he had been a good boy and really, really wanted a big shovel so he could dig in the dirt and sand. It was a great Christmas memory.

Merry Christmas!!!!!

We had a great Christmas celebration. The boys loved opening their presents and playing with all their new toys. Here are some pics from our Christmas morning.

The boys ladybug tent that Santa brought filled with the "special," most requested toys from Santa.

William really wanted a "big" shovel this year. Santa got the request and sent two....one for him and one for Paulie.

This was the biggest hit....a candy machine with a giant claw just like at the arcade or movie theatre. It even makes great music. The boys were thrilled, particularly William because it was for him!!!!!

The beach

Here are some photos of our morning at the beach....boy did they have fun!

Our Florida Christmas Vacation

The boys and I have traveled to be with my parents and older brother's family during this year's Christmas holiday. Daddy had to go on a work trip, but we are looking forward to his return.

We have had a great time enjoying the Florida weather and sunshine. It has not been as warm as we hoped, but it is much warmer than North Carolina....and the sun has been shining. A big plus for us! Here are some pics from the past few days.

Our Christmas tree the night of Christmas Eve and decorating the tree with the boys.

The boys in their extra big Christmas stockings. Paulie was practically lost in his, William was as snug as a bug in his. Too cute.

Playing in the hot tub with Uncle Tye and Abby. What fun they had.

Babysitting the newest little Von Gunten, baby Dean. William was a wonderful babysitter, making sure he was fed, burped, and had lots of special attention paid to just him. William really loved Dean and it is sweet to watch them together. (And this photo will soon be my life come June with baby Capozzoli 3 arrives!)
