Our Florida Christmas Vacation

The boys and I have traveled to be with my parents and older brother's family during this year's Christmas holiday. Daddy had to go on a work trip, but we are looking forward to his return.

We have had a great time enjoying the Florida weather and sunshine. It has not been as warm as we hoped, but it is much warmer than North Carolina....and the sun has been shining. A big plus for us! Here are some pics from the past few days.

Our Christmas tree the night of Christmas Eve and decorating the tree with the boys.

The boys in their extra big Christmas stockings. Paulie was practically lost in his, William was as snug as a bug in his. Too cute.

Playing in the hot tub with Uncle Tye and Abby. What fun they had.

Babysitting the newest little Von Gunten, baby Dean. William was a wonderful babysitter, making sure he was fed, burped, and had lots of special attention paid to just him. William really loved Dean and it is sweet to watch them together. (And this photo will soon be my life come June with baby Capozzoli 3 arrives!)

Been too long

I know it has been a really....I know....really long time since I have posted. And honestly, I really have no excuse this time. With the computer downstairs, I just don't seem to get down there alot to play around on it....and having my email sent to my iPhone...well, that doesn't help either. But I will attempt to update you on our happenings over the past few weeks. No pics....again sorry for that. Maybe one day I'll get around to uploading more photos.

We spent early December getting back into a routine since I was allowed to return to normal life. Having help is wonderful, but as children often do, they took total advantage of the having grandparents around and decided that rules did not apply to them. So mommy had to send the boys to boot camp. I am proud to say within about a day or so things were back to normal....or at least heading in that direction.

We counted the days down to out Christmas break so that we could leave our lovely home in COLD, COLD, COLD North Carolina and fly south to warm South Florida. Too bad the weather has been COLD, COLD, COLD since we have been here. But we are having fun hanging with the family and the boys love playing with their cousins, Abby and Dean. William has turned into a great babysitter and loves to make Dean smile and coo. He often holds him and feeds him his bottle very well. Paulie also loves to make Dean smile, but would rather run and play with Abby. They are so happy to have little playmates. Many mornings are spent outside in the garden digging, playing and throwing rocks into the pond. Christmas morning should be filled with lots of fun and happy children.

We look forward to getting home to NC.......not for the weather, but for Aunt Sara and Kyra's visit and for Daddy's return home.

The real reason behind the lack of posts......Yup.....we're pregnant!

So you may have noticed that I have not been updating the blog lately. I am sorry to all of you that follow us that I have not been able to update the blog....and the reason why is that Kevin and I are expecting our third little Capozzoli! I am 12 weeks today and thrilled to have reached the end of the first trimester. This pregnancy has been SO different than William's and Paul's. I have been sick with nausea and vomiting, extremely tired (really beyond tired), and have had some bleeding complications....thus I have been on a modified bedrest for 8 weeks! Around the fifth week I started to bleed and really thought I would loose the baby. The doctors put me on bedrest and hoped that the body would heal itself. I finally stopped bleeding around the 9th or 10th week. The baby has been thriving throughout all of this and continues to grow! My parents, as well as Kevin's, have both come and taken turns helping with William and Paul since I have been relegated to the couch or bed. It is nice to be released to a normal life....and to tell everyone about our exciting news.

Here are some pics of our little Capozzoli. You can see the hands and feet pretty well in these pics. We will keep you posted on my progress. I look forward to blogging about the baby and my belly growth....something I did not do with W or P. So now that I can come downstairs expect more blog updates.

Not updating or uploading for six-weeks gets you random photos.

Just as the title of the posts says.....here are some random shots of the boys from the past few months. They range from Gaga's visit in May/June, our trip (and only picture) from Charleston, SC, and Paulie's new favorite place to sleep. Enjoy looking.

Our friends, Keith and Gina Heinauer.

The Zoo. Or as Paul says "I want to see a Rhino!"

We went to the North Carolina Zoo over Labor Day Weekend. The boys had a blast looking at the animals, running along the trails and playing in the playground. It is a great zoo with plenty of walking to tire them out! Here are some pics from our adventure. I have been trying to get back to the zoo for three weeks now but weather and trips have gotten in the way. Maybe next week I will be successful.

And a cute photo of Paulie resting in the mommy bed watching a show. This is before we moved.
