Playing catch-up

I do take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. I just don't ever seem to find the time to upload them to the blog. Both sets of grandparents are "creatively" finding ways to let us know they would like to see updates to the blog. I finally found time this morning to go thru our pictures from the past 3 months and post some to the blog. So, here are some pictures from our summer adventures. This will take us thru to our camping adventure. I will try to upload more AND put some video on too.

Our camping adventure at High Rock Lake. This is our cabin. It was quite cozy...about 250 square feet for all of us. Sure did enjoy it! Next time we will be getting an RV.

The boys trying to catch fish. Fishing was the priority at camp. The boys, particularly William, had so much fun trying out different types of bait in attempts to catch catfish. The weather sure did make it hard because they did not want to bite. We did not catch any fish, but the boys handled it pretty well. The smell on the other hand was not so great. I was happy to get home to wash their smelly clothes.

I love this photo. The boys feeding the ducks. You can have it in small, medium, or large. Just pick your size.

Here are photos from our trip around the lake. This was Catherine's first time on a boat...7 weeks old. She spent most of the doing this......sleeping. What a good baby. Paulie did have her beat with his first boat ride at 6 weeks old. We sure do miss being on the water and can't wait to have another boat someday.

William learning to steer. Look at Dad's great captaining skills....just let the kid figure it out. This is how I learned too....and at the same age. Check back for video of this moment.

Don't you feel safe with this captain at the wheel? Look Dad, no hands - just feet!

Paulie's turn at the helm.

Feeding our ducks. The boys had so much fun feeding the ducks.

Our wonderful accommodations at our campsite. Again, it sure was cozy.

Here are pics of the boys hanging with Aunt Sara and Kyra during her visit to our house. The boys were excited to have Kyra visit. Makes them want a dog. Their energy level was a bit high and made Mom think we are a few years away from adding a puppy to the family.

Some great shots of my baby girl. Here she is sitting pretty in her bumpo with a cute dress and bow to match.

These are my attempts of getting cute photos of Catherine in her dresses. Somehow I can hardly manage to get a photo of just her because SOMEONE has to be in the photo too.

These are pictures from our Fourth of July celebration. We cooked out at our friends Mandy and Mike's house. The kids played and then we headed to Pinehurst for fireworks. It was a great time and some cute photos were taken. Just scroll down and see......

William did not want to participate in the family photo so we pretended to be a family of four.

Everyone loves a cowboy and a beauty queen....just which one is which? They sure did have fun dressing up.
Catherine in her Fourth of July outfit. I just love her look....such a Capozzoli look. Little shark eyes already coming out at 1 month....or are they t-rex eyes?!?!?

More attempts at taking pictures of JUST Catherine. See how successful I was?!

William lost four teeth in a span of a week. He quickly realized that the tooth fairy was bringing money and Kevin and I worried he was ripping his teeth out because four in a week is a bit much. But alas, loosing teeth has stopped. Maybe this is his pattern....just get it over with at once. You get the money faster that way.

The one photo session I was able to just capture Catherine. Look how cute she is. This outfit is now packed away. I think she was at 4 or 5 weeks of age. She is now 9 weeks. Amazing how big she has gotten.

And we have made it to the end. William's dinner celebration for the end of First Grade. He wanted to go to Wendy's. So off we went. I don't know how long I will be able to afford these pricey dinners :)! He sure was excited about the dinner....and the end of the school year.
