Lonely lonely lonely husband
A baby shower!

A pretty pink baby blanket knitted by her Grandmother, Gage. Gage also made Abby some booties and a sweet little sweater.
Abby's gift from Aunt Heather and Uncle Trent. Sweet girl clothes. Girls can NEVER have too many clothes.
Isn't this just the cutest!!!!!!!
Tracy and Kelly.
William's and Paul's travels
Some sort of antelope that just stood there and looked at the car. In another part of the park, we had a Zebra that stood in front of the car and would NOT move. I was afraid to go around it because you never know what could happen. The Zebra could of reared and hit the car. Of course, my battery in the camera had quit so I could not get a photo. It was pretty funny. Oh, and the Zebra was in the same area as the Rhino....another reason to not make the Zebra mad. The Rhino was not far away.
Some sort of large antelope.
The Easter bunny made an appearance in South Florida...and the Book Fairy comes every night. William loves looking for eggs and books.
Yesterday we went to the water park in Boca. William and Papa had to immediately run and play while Mommy and Gaga set everything up. We went to meet up with the guys, but Paulie did not like the water...it was a bit cold. So, we went back to the chairs and relaxed. William and Papa played and played. They went on the lazy river and were trying to get away from the waterfall because it was so cold and fell out of the raft!!!!! Oh No!!!! William said it was hard to see everybody underwater...his eyes didn't work. After that, everybody was ready to go home and warm up in the hot tub.
Garden update and William as a warrior

This is hard work....whooo....I'm tired!
As typical MO fashion for William, he got into my makeup and painted his face. Here are some photos of him as a warrior wearing my lipstick as face paint. Boys......

William's "I'm angry face". Look at my sweet Paulie in the background.
William's "I'm sad face".
A cute photo of the loves.

Our summer family project....a vegetable garden
We have decided to grow bush beans (green beans), sweet corn, sweet peppers, red peppers, hot peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes. We are also going to have a pumpkin patch where we will grow watermelons, cantaloupe, and summer squash in the early summer months. Then in July we are going to grow pumpkins for Halloween/fall months.
Kevin has poured HOURS into thinking about the garden layout and getting it right. We sent our soil away to be tested, tilled the land, and added our necessary fertilizer. Yesterday, Kevin and I put the fence up. Mind you, this fence is not to keep bunnies or deer or other wild critters out.....it is to keep Lisa, and hopefully, William out! Again, we shall see. We also laid out the rows and began to hoe the garden. It truly was backbreaking work. I did the hoeing....Kevin did the building and construction of the gate. We are hoping to finish hoeing today and plant our seeds and plants tomorrow!
Through all this hard work, I have more admiration for our grandparents generation and the work it takes to build a garden. It is worth it. Take a look at our pictures.
The veggie garden with two and a half rows hoed....by me!
A view of the garden and somewhat of the pumpkin patch with the fence and gate. Yesterday's mantra was...."Lisa.....GET OUT OF THE GARDEN. Lisa....GET OUT OF THE GARDEN!!!!" She never got it, thus the gate.
An inside view of the pumpkin patch....we are saving it for Gaga to plant!

Catch up....
Spring break ended and we all survived. William started a new school on April 2nd. The transition has gone VERY well. He loves his new school and often talks about not liking his old school. Good decision on Mommy's part for making the switch. The morning drop-offs are SOOOOOO smooth now....no crying, falling on the floor, and tantrums. I had that everyday but ONE at the old school. Pick-ups are even better! He talks about how fun school was and what he did. When I ask him if he had fun, he says "It was great, Mom." I am so relieved and happy! There was one change with the new school switch. William is now going to school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So that means three days of getting up early. William, like every other family member on both the Capozzoli and Von Gunten side, is not a morning child. On Wednesday, he decided not to eat breakfast in favor of sleeping.....typical.
Paulie is on solids and LOVES them! I think I should have started him earlier. And, I am happy to report that he is sleeping better. He sticks to his routine and goes down around 7:30-8:00PM, has a bottle at 10:00, wakes at 2:00 and then up at 7:30-8:00AM. It is getting much better. Mommy is slowly getting rid of the 2AM bottle.....by this weekend he should be off it. That does not mean he will be sleeping....more like crying for it still. But, it is much better. He is drinking more of his bottle during the day. Hope it continues to go well.
We have done some visiting in the past weeks and plan to do more. We went to Troy, AL for Easter and saw Grandpa and Grandma Capozzoli. William had fun collecting Easter eggs. Next week we will travel south to Delray Beach and see Gaga and Papa Seybert. We are looking forward to the visit...not the 10 hour drive...but the visit.
Here are some photos from the past few weeks.
We took a really long walk the other night. This is how Paulie decided to spend the last part of the walk. He looks so funny asleep in the backpack, like he only has a head and a backpack for a body! Cute.
William wanted to finger paint the other day while I did some reports for work. Well, he painted a little bit more than the paper......what is with him wanting to look like the Green Giant or Incredible Hulk?! At least it was washable finger paint and all came off in the bath. Ah, boys.....
William decided that he needed to color his face with blue chalk the other day. This is his impression of William Wallace from Braveheart. I think he could give Mel a run for his money.......
