Hopefully.....

We will be able to get a family photo this weekend at the beach. I am hopeful that we can use it as our Christmas card family picture. We'll see. I have packed some nice clothes for everyone (first time in 10 years that I will pack for m husband). And of course, I tried on MANY, MANY outfits looking for the causal-yet-beachy-relaxed-vacation look. I am not going to think anything but positive thoughts about photo opportunities.

The sun is starting to come out and I am looking forward to hearing the actual ocean rather than a CD of beach sounds in Paul's bedroom. William, well what can I say, he is beside himself with excitement to go. Should be fun.

The new header

I am copy-catting Melissa's blog with her family collage. I thought it looked really nice and you get to see more of the family with several photos versus just one big one. So, look it over and let me know your thoughts about it. I may, after some time, switch up the pics. First I have to get use to this new look.

Oh, and I am sooooooooooo ready for a weekend at the beach. The kids are so excited. It is well deserved and very needed!

The boys have found a new coloring book, Kyra. She was so good while the tried to color in the lines, on the lines (her white blaze), her toenails, and even her tail. Who knew what fun....simple fun...you could have with a hose and a dog! Check out the boys playing with Kyra out on the back deck yesterday after she got her bath. Too much fun for everyone!

There's a new chef in town!

Auntie Sara is visiting for the week. William asked if they could bake a cake together. William picked out his cake, decorations and toppings....marshmallows.....YUM! We came right home from the grocery store and baked our cake. Here is my little chef....loving every bit of his cake.
