The Fall Festival

Before the sickness took possession of our home, William's school and PTA had a fund raiser, the annual Fall Festival. Dinner was catered by a local BBQ/Down home cookin' restaurant and many booths were set up for purchase of many, many, many different fun toys and games. There were candy, cookie, popcorn, coffee drink booths, a dunking booth, spirit stick booths, and the most popular booth - the scary hair salon. William was so excited to get his hair "done". Here is the before picture:

And the after....I think green is his color....looks like the Incredible Hulk. Now his hair will go with his punching gloves from Auntie Sara.

Our friend, Aidan Roof, also got his hair colored. I didn't know this was going to be such a trend for young boys...but it was!

Love the contrast of low-lights (green) with high-lights (blue). Looks very natural.


William was so impressed with Aidan's hair that he made a return visit to the salon and came out looking like this:

He loved it! To me it looks like a demented Tabby Cat on his head.....but hey, he was happy and that was all that mattered. Especially at 12:00AM when the sickness decided to move into the house. And throughout the sickness phase, William did worry about his hair. He needed to make sure his color stayed. Too funny.
